Hike up to the castle and enjoy the views. We hiked up just before sunset and enjoyed wonderful sights. You can drive up fairly close. Bring a flashlight / torch if you plan to hike up into the ruins at dusk.
I hiked from Kiotari to Asklipios very much worth but as I’m more into MTB would rather take a bike as the way is a classic dirt/landrover track for off-road biking.
The village itself is good with a countryside Greek feel without crowds of tourists....More

When visiting villages like Aslipio, you get start feeling the inland of Rhodes and its beauties. Walk freely among the alleys with the traditional homes and climb towards the castle to enjoy the view.
