Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We initially were only going to stay at this beach for a couple of hours after visiting the thermal springs (2 stops by bus). We were greeted on arrival by friendly staff who apologized that there were no sum beds available at that time. We were happy to sit on their lovely bar area and get a drink. Our children got hungry and we them had lunch. Beds were made available and we headed down. As we were having a nice time we decided to sample a cocktail. Each was lovely but Maitai was the envy of the group. Several Maitai's and hours later we reluctantly decided leave. A great little find!

This beach is wonderful. The vibe relaxed, quiet and chilled. Many locals on the beach. You don't pay for beds and parasol, plus a huge lounging pillow and small table. Service is excellent and the menue, caters for most needs. Not expensive. The water is clean. Pebble beach, but a pair of water shoes fix that. Well worth a visit. Come before midday to get beds, but there is also natural shade by trees further along on the nature stretch.

In my opinion the most beautiful and enjoyable beach of Kos. The pebble beach is located a few kilometers from kos Town.
It is adjacent to a splendid hotel one part, in fact, is reserved for guests of the structure and the other half, also equipped and super comfortable, is for the outdoors. You do not pay any entrance, no parking, no sunbeds and umbrella, but only the (optional) drinks.
The scenery is postcard , the transparent sea silence and peace reign supreme. The young and discreet staff but ready to meet the needs of customers.
Excellent hot dishes and fast food as well as desserts and ice cream with beach service. Background lounge music and beautiful compilations.
All very clean and with considerable attention to aesthetics and attention to detail.
This beach was the plus value of the holiday ❣️

Visited this great beach and restaurant on a previous holiday so was keen to return. We cycled here from Kos Town. The sunbeds were comfortable and the beach service excellent. The beach is quite rocky but wasn't a problem for us. The views from the beach were perfect.Great relaxed and chilled vibe. We had coffee when we arrived and beers on the beach. The lunchtime menu was varied and we ordered our lunch. The service was shocking. We waited quite a while for a menu and then for our order to be taken then a further hour for food. Let's hope this was a one-off.
The food was good when it arrived but be aware if you order bread to accompany your meal you will be served with two slices of white bread. (One of these slices was a crust too) Not your usual bread.

We stay on the outskirts of Kos town. On the bike we came across this special pleasant place. It looks very nice, bikes parked and with a nice path next to located accommodation walked to the beach. Lovely quiet beach with free beds and umbrella. Friendly lady comes to you for an order.
With a fresh dip in the calm water and music in the background, we had a great time here. Highly recommended.😎

This is at the eastern end of the island, and west of the Dmitra Beach hotel. It's a dark grey sandy beach with lots of pebbles. Parking is free and the sea is clear, but there's little shade, the beach is grubby, and in June the biting insects were a problem: "no-see-ums" and yellow/green flying beetles. We moved on to a beach where we weren't eaten alive.

The location is wonderful, the restaurant looks lovely, the staff are nice and friendly but the food is very poor unfortunately. They really are missing a trick by not making an effort with the food as the decor etc is really classy. The beach is really nice. We never returned due to the food. All appeared to be just frozen stuff you would get in a supermarket

Luxury by the sea. We had been recommended by hotel guest relations. We went on last day and shame we did not find before. Service food drinks sun beds. Water so clear and some of our party did snorkelling which saw some unusual fish.

Essentially a rocky beach located on the south west of the island. We took the bus from Kos Town bus station (next to the sea on the road where the Police station is located) heading to Therma and got off near the Agios Fokas Beach Club. The water was crystal clear if somewhat cold with a gentle current. The snorkelling is quite good here even close in with plenty of smaller fish to look at. If you go further out then the fish get bigger but I would not recommend this unless you are a confident swimmer. The bus journey cost around 2.20 EUR each way and took 15 minutes.

HI I go in a few weeks to Kefalos. I have booked a spa day at the Michelangelo Spa. Do you know if you can get a bus from the bus station to this beach?
Written 23 June 2016
The bus has no number . Just the line to THERMA - AGIOS FOKAS . The start line is in front of the police station.

Danke!
