The famous sandy beach Agios Nikolaos in village Arkasa is of the nicest beaches on Karpathos. The waves with the golden sand & the fresh wind gives the visitors a relaxing visit to the beach. There is beach volley court on the beach, sunbeds and umbrellas. Around the beach there are hotels, taverna and beach bar. There is parking place over the beach. Paleokastro is on the right of the beach.

A lovely quiet beach, especially after the day visitors have gone. Also great for snorkling. And a bit of birdwatching... we saw 20 bee eaters! :-)

Quiet and very nice tiny village with a great ambience. Nice taverna. Beautiful drive from Spoa to the beach. Remember to make lots of photo stops on the way down to the ocean.

One quite beach with really traditional character. You can feel detached from crowded places and traffic and let yourself relax. The water is crystal clear and there is also a very nice tavern called "votsalo".
