This was a must-see and I'm so glad we added this area to our itinerary. You can take the bus from Fira and get off at the bus stop. There are white arrows on the ground leading you into the windy streets. Keep going and...More
Walk around this village will give you a glimpse of traditional houses, beautiful structures, private & public churches. There are some nice eateries as well and art and craft shops. There is a family run winery as well which can be toured. Overall good feel.
Our group of 8 visited with a tour guide who showed us the quaint streets and the free "cave house" (as well as several other sites on the island). We stopped for lunch and had one of the best meals I ate while in Greece....More
There are lots of great shops and restaurants to experience in this village. The other towns are nice, but this one isn't crammed with millions of tourists. If you want to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere, park your car and take a walk down the...More
If you want to enjoy the beauty of Santorini beyond Fira n Oia then you must take a guided tour. If you are on your own then it is very difficult to enjoy this quaint tradional village. We had taken private tour and our guide...More

I don’t think that time will allow an Oia sunset I’m afraid. The length of time you are in santorini will not allow you to see and do everything that’s well worth seeing and doing. I can make some suggestions if you want to pick what is more tailored to your interests.
Fira has lots of shops restaurants and some museums. This is most likely where your boat will dock so won’t really involve transport other than a donkey or cable car up from the port.
If you would prefer a beach personally I would travel to Kamari over Perissa. You could go by bus from Fira or a taxi would be approximately 25 Euro. There is a lovely prom with lots of nice restaurants as well as the beach. It’s also close to the ancient ruins of Thera. There’s a beautiful outdoor cinema but again I think you will be leaving too early for that.
If you would like a walk you could get a taxi from Fira to nearby Firostefani and walk back which is a lovely walk, quite easy and with stunning caldera views.
Oia is stunning you could get a bus or taxi. I think a taxi could be a little bit expensive.
Santo winery would be lovely too if you wanted to get a taxi out there, have some wine and nibbles and enjoy the stunning views.
Hope these suggestions help.

Hi, I have used the tour - Full day sight seeing at Santorini from viator. You may have a look into the details. It costed me 43 euros last July'2016. The tour is very well organized and compact tour covering lots of major places in Santorini in a luxury bus - cost effective too and the village walk was one of them.
