Plaka Beach is very tranquil compared to nearby Agia Anna Beach and Agia P a bit more away. Lots of nice sand and surf, fewer people and a more relaxed vibe. You can still find beach umbrellas and chairs to rent if you wish, and...More

We are staying on Nisakki Beach and decided to rent a car and explore the island. Plaka Beach is absolutely beautiful. The white sandy beach is wonderful and the Mediterranean is picture perfect. It was fun for the kids (10, 14) to watch the kite...More

Had a very enjoyable day at the beach. We were fortunate to have good weather. Plenty of beds and umbrellas to relax. You don’t need to pay for the beds if you order food from the restusrants. Good was delicious. Service was excellent.

We were underwhelmed by this beach whilst nice very busy and of course the food and drinks at the taverns or restaurants are a little more expensive given the location.

Busy beach except maybe last 2 kilometers. Occasional nudist areas. Great places to eat, taverna Manolis was a particular favourite of mine. Highly recommended.

Very chilled out beach with lots of nice restaurants and quiet bars (just at the beginning of the season). Good for families, couples, singles and groups. We ate at a great restaurant called Petrina. Would 100% recommend it and especially the homemade ice cream! The...More

I believe that Plaka has it all. Pristine water, amazing scenery, great places to eat or enjoy a coffee or a drink, it is relatively safe for inexperienced swimmers (you should always keep your mind though) and, most of all, it is far from civilisation....More

Hi, no shops near the beaches except little bakeries. To go to Naxos you better rent a car or you may use a bus. Have fun in Naxos

Most of the places open after Easter. Only a few of them will be closed. everything has to do with the weather as 80%of them have only open space.Anyway Naxos has so many places that you are for sure find something great!.
