This fountain which is almost 500 years old is worth a look and surrounded by restaurants and places to eat. It is on a walkway with many streets converging on it so you cannot miss it.

It's not the most impressive fountain in the world however when you take into account it's 400 years old then it deserves to be appreciated. Situated in a delightful pedestrian square it's a great focal point while sitting at a cafe enjoying a glass of...More

The Morosini Fountain, decorated with bas relief figures that want you to look more closely, is a beautiful reminder of the Venetian era in Crete. When it was commissioned in 1628 by the same Venetian Governor, General Francesco Morosini, who commissioned the nearby loggia. It...More

Nice fountain, although usually too popular, and surrounded by tourists all trying to get the same 'unique' selfie. Keep an eye out for the beggers in the daytime/evening and the numerous feral dogs roaming in the late evening/early morning

You’re bound to encounter this while walking the city, so no need to make it a destination. The best part of visiting it is that there are many restaurants and shops nearby.

Hello, the Morosini Fountain is a 20 min walk. I reckon. I am not sure where exactly the cruise ships moor. But once you get to the bottom of 25th August street, you are in a pleasant pedestrian area. You walk straight up... More
