Aeriko cafe bar is "perched" on the walls of the old harbor of Chania town, behind the Yali Tzamisi. A colorful staircase, decorated with sea shell paintings, leads to the first sun terrace that overlooks the lighthouse and the Venetian harbor.
Tucked away up some stairs in a corner of the port, this bar, favoured by very young locals, offers a couple of terraces ideal for a coffee or drink. Loud music, so not recommended for a romantic tête-à-tête.

When strolling around the tourist quarters in Chania you need to breath sometimes. This is a great place to escape to. They serve excellent drinks and the waitress who helped me with some restaurant recommendations was lovely.
