Wow.....this is incredible! Worth a stop and a photo. Hard to believe this huge croc was found locally and shot by a lady back in 1957.

15 of us flew into Normanton and were welcomed by the management and staff of the Albion Hotel who took us on a guided sightseeing tour of Normanton, which included Krys the Crocodile for our group photo. A great day was had by all.

A replica of what people claim to be the largest crocodile ever shot. It's fun to go and see and take a few photos, read the information board then move along!

Life size crocodile in the centre of the town. Good spot for photos and easy to find and near some public toilets. Makes you think about staying out of the water!

The crocodile was 8.63 metres long the largest ever shot in Australia. It was shot in July 1957 by Krys Pawlowski, a 30 year old woman from Poland, on the banks of the Norman River.
