Sitting tall & proud at the high end of Liberdade Square the building took 37 years to construct and was only finished in the 1950's.
The building itself is a work of art and is completely at one in the grand Praca da Liberdade.

The town hall of Porto sits at the top of the Praça da Liberdade and is both beautiful and imposing, the stone carving on the exterior is very intricate, it is definitely worth a photo-stop when in the city
