It is impossible to visit the city of Porto without knowing the Ribeira. Here, Portuguese and tourists come together for a good snack, a beer or a glass of wine. Many of the guided tours of the city depart from here. Don't miss it!

A place to rest after the hills of Baixa. A lovely airy space which accommodates restaurants and troubadours at the same time. Sit and enjoy a relaxing glass of something cool and watch the world go round

The “cube” square on the river in Porto has great cafes and bars. Mant street musicians, including Fado can be enjoyed during the day and evening. Also along the river there are steeet stalls selling souvenirs. A dinfinite must see location.

What a great spot for people and river watching. We caught a river cruise here but were advised not to eat here as it is very expensive due to tourism.

If you are a tourist, you must visit this area, but be aware that it's full of tourist, cheap trinkets, expensive drinks and food and other things that could be annoying for some. It is lovely to visit, to see the river and the buildings...More

Busy, noisy place. Cheap entertainment. Not sure why it is so special. If you staying in a hotel here and have a window to the street you will get noise. We stayed within 100 m but had a quiet room facing a courtyard. We caught...More

Picturesque square by the waters edge with excellent views of the bridge. Filled with cafes and restaurants it is a great place to stop. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

A taxi to the airport cost us a fixed price of €25 which is pretty cheap. Relying on public transport when catching a flight is always a bit risky. Our concierge booked the taxi for us.
