Had a wonderful ceviche, oysters and sea bass dinner. Veal verde wine supposedly the only green wine in existence and only sold in Portugal. Restaurant on the beach. Very nice place

Ate here twice whilst we were in Porto and I really enjoyed both my meals. Vegetarian choices were interesting and varied & nice to have a few options. Good service and great location. Food was good value for money so would definitely return.

This is a great place to crash for a beach day. Not so much for swimming as there are many rocks in the water, but the beach and the lounge is great. Good restaurant, very friendly people, good music, very good vibes. We enjoyed is...More

We had a great time wondering around the quite beach. Whilst not suitable for swimming it was still lovely! Lots of nice restaurants in the area.

There are cafe's near the beach with the same name which is worth visiting or bring your own cooler to the beach and hang out with your friends which is even more enjoyable. The water however is very cold!

Spent a few days in Porto. After marching the entire city, we needed a little break. We figured a nice stroll along the coast would be lovely. Found Foz do Douro online, took a quick Uber, stumbled onto this place, sat and smiled. Wonderful setting....More

Another section of the lovely beach that runs from Forte Sao Jose northwards up to the other fort at Quilvera. Interesting and enjoyable sands , which sit between some ancient rock formations. This is a special geologically important area - although we would have been...More

The ocean is far to too wild and rocky for swimming, but the sand is nice for sunbathing, provided you don't need a beach chair. If you like your ocean view from a bit of a distance, you can enjoy a glass or wine and...More

We didn't swim when we visited as it was too cold but it was still a lovely place to walk along the promenade at the top. There are a couple of restaurants dotted along the way which make nice places to stop for a drink...More
