This beach/lighthouse/walk along the water is a beautiful break from the density of downtown Porto even on a cloudy/grey day. The fog may also impact your visibility depending on the time of day (morning or late afternoon).
Amazing place where the river meets the ocean, just beautiful with people walking on the sidewalks, full of fisherman. The beach is very nice, for anybody who loves water and the beach, you can spend a whole day here.
Such a pretty, peaceful area. Would highly recommend visiting around sunset. Lots of people were there, but it didn't feel crowded - it was mostly just people taking in the beautiful view. Sizable waves and a really calming scene.
