Don't trust photos on Tripavisor!!! It is NOT a large white church on the other side of the river!!! The church is small and hidden behind the police station not far from Se Catedral and Bishop's palace. IT IS CLOSED Monday - Friday between 12:30...More

Several reviewers tell us that it's hard to find. And so it is. We made the effort because it is, reputedly, a real gem of a place. At the time of our visit the area all around the chapel square looked like a building site...More

This church is something one has to see from a distance. From a close look it is impressive yet nothing to be defined as "must see"

This church is tucked under an arch, beside a police station and we were fortunate to come across as it. Although its small, the interior is so very detailed. I think you could stare at it for hours. It’s certainly one of my favourite interiors...More

If you have crossed the Bridge Luis I, you can climb up to this church and you have a nice spot to take pictures from the bridge as well as Ribeira area. For the church itself, it is one of soo many in Porto, not...More

While visiting the church of Santa Clara, it was possible to visit only the convent, but not the church for which you need to be in a group. Beyond the inside, the big interest is the view over the city of Porto which is unforgettable.

Church of Santa Clara is on top of Gala side on Douro River. Due to renovation processes, it has been closed and will last for year on completion. Nonetheless it is still nice to stroll around and take photos on top of the river.

Wonderful church, a bit less known and visited than the main ones in Porto, but still spectacular! The only thing a bit stressing was actually to find it, as it is quite hidden among other buildings. There were ongoing works that are supposed to last...More

Unfortunately the church is close with no reason when we was there so we just walk around and enjoy the stunning view and have a different view on Porto riviera . If you are in Gaia side, this shouldn't miss .

This Igreja is well worth visiting and enjoying at leisure, since it is so stylish and well-proportioned, albeit on a large scale. The roof tiling is very attractive and the entire building rewards the casual photographer with wonderful photos.

Unfortunately, none of my searches found info. on times. There are phone numbers for the church listed. Upon arrival in the city there are many who speak English and could call on your behalf and inquire.
