We enjoyed our time here. The palace has some great architectural features and a very nice collection of art work (paintings, tapestry, ceramics, weapons). The entry was included in the Guimaraes Pass (15 eu or 18 eu with teleferico tram ride).
Its a beautiful palace, quite small by comparison. The tour is quite short. The palace is furnished of please the tourists (scene setting)
If you intend to visit the castle buy a discounted ticket with the entrance fee for the palace
