Great little museum, only a couple of Euro to get in. Can’t believe that you can actually pick up and hold and browse through Columbus’ original navigation instruments and charts. Well worth a visit.

Although there are a few things to see, there isn't a huge amount in English and the few cards we did see in English didn't really tell the full picture. Obviously it is on a Portuguese island so you can't expect full translation but a...More

A very small museum with a few random artifacts accompanied by laminated pages of information about Columbus and the history of the time. Doesn't take too long to go around as there's not really that much there. Only a 2 Euro entrance fee but definitely...More

Not a big house but well worth a visit... very interesting facts about Columbus and well laid out. The courtyard at the back of the house is lovely... a very enjoyable visit.

A must if staying on the island. Don't plan your day around visiting as it will only occupy about 2 hours of your time tops. Saying that the exhibits although not plentiful are worth looking at. The garden and grounds are pleasant and we'll kept....More

We came to the town specially to visit the house and although we arrived at 10:30am and within the opening hours clearly stated on the website and even on the front door itself, the door and gates were firmly locked with no note of explanation...More

Finally managed to visit here after a couple of attempts, due to it closing around midday, it opens again in the afternoon but unsure of the exact times. A couple of interesting things to look at but quite sparse on information and we had literally...More

There is a 2 euro charge for entry to the museum, there isn't much to see once inside, worth a quick look around though all the information is translated into english

Not a lot to see, but what they have was interesting. About 6 rooms with exhibits. Only 2€ so won’t break the bank.
