What a spot!!

Great Views

A must do day trip. Cable car up to Monte Gardens & toboggan ride down. Tip is to only buy a single one way ticket up to Monte then come down by toboggan. Great views across Funchal on a lovely Sunny day.

A relaxed ride to the top with great views over Funchal. Service is frequent so waiting times are not too long

There are fantastic views from the cable car. Be aware, if there are cruise ships in port, mornings can be busy! It was a good service and reasonably priced.

Not cheap but excellent.

A really efficient way to get to Monte. It's quite expensive, but it gets you there at ease, with clean cable cars, and without a long wait in spite of the long queues. Good value for tired legs!
