Fun to explore the expansive grounds though the mansion was a little underwhelming. A place I would like to return.

A day at Quinta Da Regaleira is like a trip to a fantasy land. The gardens, grottos and towers were magical and the palace beautiful. I highly recommend this and spend at least 1/2 day enjoying the sites.

This was a wonderful castle and quite interesting park. It had caves, lakes, statues and towers. Recommend it!

Wish we had more time to spend here. There is a lot to see, and everything is connected by easy wooded paths or narrow passageways between sites. Fascinating playground of the wealthy. Definitely worth a visit.

This was an extraordinary place to spend a few hours. Our photos from the bottom of the well are just amazing! And the cafe was a perfect place for a break.

Yes. I would suggest going to Pena first thing though as it will get busier and so the queue to get in will be longer. I caught an 0840 Train from Lisbon and got into Pena by 1030 which included about a 20min wait. By the... More
