We went in winter so they are doing a lot of refurbishment, which meant a lot of the rooms where shut, which meant it only took us about 15 mins to do it, there just wasn’t a lot to see! And no information panels. We...More

Amazing palace built on mountain top. Lines are longer than Disney World. Pretty good climb up hill to see palace from the gate. Weather can be very cloudy on the mountain, even if warm and sunny in Lisbon. Great spot for photos. Limited parking downhill...More

I visited Sintra on a City break to Lisbon and spent a day in what I can only describe as a beautiful environment. There are several palaces to visit and wonderful views everywhere. Really, a day will not get you to see all of Sintra...More

This maybe the national palace of sintra but i have seen better ones. I found the tour expensive . They are maintaining it well and refurbishing it too. The life around the palace is touristy and make the ambience charming.

We visited this place in the afternoon, just walked up to the ticket desk and bought tickets. No queue there or anywhere. Very pleasant experience.
