We were recommended to come here by the host of our fabulous accommodation, Casa Amora. It just happened to be right next to our front door! Great atmosphere and good selection of cocktails and Portuguese beer. Quiet and relaxed earlier in the evening and then...More

We arrived at opening time (6pm) after a days sightseeing. A relaxing bar with intimate seating areas. The barman was friendly and provided table service and bowls of popcorn. A nice atmosphere. We found the drinks prices expensive and the is a smell of stale...More

As always, reviews are nothing but subjective. At first I thought: That sad person who gave one star to this bar needs life. But then I realised that two people will never feel the same way about anything, no matter what. So I can only...More

The cocktails need an upgrade, but the space is so nice that it's not worth complaining overly much about that. It's so nice that even the fact that it's a smoking space didn't deter our group. Good waiters, open super late and starts getting very...More

I visited this bar as saw it highly recommended on TripAdvisor and I like speakeasy bars. This bar is unfortunately not so speakeasy as the cocktail choice is quite limited - small menu and the cocktails I asked if they could make, they couldn’t, so...More

This bar is definitely worth a visit, if only because you have to ring the doorbell to get in! Cocktails are served in an intimate Art Nouveau 1920s style space with plush velvet seating and vintage table lamps. There is an old piano, wooden fireplace...More

Really quiet and very comfortable bar. The barman Luis was very thoughtful. The cocktails were very well prepared and delicious. Located in a remote spot, it is a very nice bar for a night drink with friends or as a couple.

We were staying at the quest house Casa Amora right next to this historic bar. On our last night after Fado we stopped in. What a fun experience! The bar and décor are of another era. It was crowded and we sat at the bar...More
