Very significant tower - we got off the 15E tram much earlier and walked along the waterside on a beautiful sunny day. Tickets for inside are Eur 6 or discount 3 so quite pricey - we just enjoyed the view and its locale.

We didn't pay but the view and the position of where it is makes a lovely walk all along the river front. You will get hassled by loads of people trying to sell you stuff.

A glorious tower of torture, very beautiful to look at (especially at sunset). Well worth a visit. Don’t bother going inside, it’s not worth the €.

It's a symbol of the Old Portugal, the superpower, and it's located by the river (it was part of the Tagus defence system), close to the Jerónimos monastery and the original "pastel de belém" pastry shop, so it's worth the visit. It's a photo friendly...More
