Travessa de Santa Teresa 28 | Bairro Alto, Lisbon 1200-405, Portugal
The design is quite good, but, it's just a old pub, a cozy place, with comfortable sofas and chairs in general, but with extravagant prices, I've been to 5 star hotels cheaper than this.
I've been to various cafes of this type (pub), but never...More
Old-fashioned in style - all dark wood, leather, heavily patterned wallpaper.
Lots of cosy corners (ideal for a date) and lots of staff rushing about.
Extensive drinks menu with lovely drinks - if you are used to London City prices, you won’t be shocked as...More
Wow. You have to find the “secret door” and then ring the doorbell to be let in. A 1930’s movie can be shot here. The drinks are a bit expensive but worth the walk. Food not bad.

From the splendid garden and its cafe-kiosk to its restaurants, Príncipe Real is more than worthy of a visit and it won't let you down: its attractions include "Pavilhão Chinês" (one of the more eccentric interior designs you'll ever see), museums and a fantastic botanical garden. It's also a commercial neighborhood, and you can visit a renovated Palace, home of the Embaixada (embassy) trendy shopping center
with its cafes, art galleries and luxury shops... and even if you don't buy anything, take a look inside just for its marvellous interiors. On top of this, Príncipe Real offers a variety of places to eat: if you're in a hurry, drop by "Pizza a Pezzi"; and if you're not, taste the delicious Honorato hamburgers, Argentinian cuisine at La Paparrucha and also great, delicious Portuguese food at Tascardoso!
