I think junior high-schoolers can produce much better presentaions nowadays. It's old, boring presentations in old technology that today is completely made irrelevant. The place should be torn-down.

This was complete disappointment! The first impression was good: nice seats, quite large cupola. Then the film started. You get excited at the first 5 seconds, because stars projected on cupola are nice. But then disaster! On these stars very poor pictures of stars, nebulas,...More

This place is actually just a planetarium, without almost any additional exhibit or display or things to see. It's also a pretty shabby planetarium and the sound is terrible. We also skipped the first Portuguese session and waited 90 minutes for the "special" English session...More

This Planetarium does not use the wonderful facilities provided. They have a fantastic projector which only serves as background lighting showing the wrong hemisphere. The show consists of slides projected using an ancient slide projector. There is a sensationalist slimy voice over loudspeakers. If you...More

Here you can simulate the universe. With a very nice set of projectors, they simulate all the events in the sky, and the positions of the stars and planets all over the year and where they are in the sky. Very nice!

I love this kind of places and was really excited to have an opportunity to visit it, Well, it wasn’t the complete disappointment, but it could be far, far better; it is short, outdated and not very attractive presentation.

We only went to the planetario as queues for the monastery were too long. It was OK but nothing special. The session took one hour but I'm sure it could have been done in half the time. Not impressed that it was all in Portuguese...More

The experience is very simple and short, if you can get the discount of 2.50€ you can manage to be satisfied :P otherwise I don't suggest it. You can use your time in Lisbon in a better way. There is the English version on the...More
