This is an enchanting little museum that focusses on the relationship between Cascais and the sea. It was interesting to see the contrast between the lives of the aristocracy accompanying the King on his seaside jaunts (there are many wonderful photos from the Victorian age)...More

This neat little museum had a lot more to say about conservation than I had anticipated. The display about the amazing and diverse sea life found in the Atlantic ocean brought me to a halt when I read how many species of fish had been...More

Well worth a visit, especially nice for children. Well laid out interesting exhibits. My husband and I spent a good hour and half wandering around. Different things catching our attention and drawing us on. Well worth 3€ each

We really enjoyed this museum. It's not too big but has plenty of interest to look at, and is very cheap. Also it wasn't busy and is just a short walk from the centre of Cascais.

Really only for kids. Nice one as such, and on the cheap (3 eur), but not worth your time. The exhibits are nice, you learn something for sure, but better use your time elsewhere.

For adults, there really isn’t anything special. Kids will be interested by the maritime stories, though
