Good to Know: - Bring your own food & drink - Bring a large towel or buy one at McDonald’s up the street for €1 with meal purchase - The large towels that vendors are selling on the beach are the perfect size but will...More

This is a nice beach in Cascais (there are several beaches). Cascais is a beach town next to cliffs. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and cafes to refresh at.

nice little beach. very crowded though. it appeared to have great wheel chair facilities. we also took a walk through town and along the cliffs. but I recommend hiring bikes from the train station.

A beach right in town with a nice walking area on the land side, places to eat and drink, good sea views.

Took the train to Cascais for the day, lovely beach, sea was a bit cold, quite a busy beach, but very clean, with lovely views, a few bars at the top which was ideal for refreshments. Very warm day, even at the end of September.

The umbrellas were sold out but we rented sunbeds without umbrellas, and bought an umbrella in a shop to shade us. The guy then told me it was forbidden ("they have a rule") so I had to move into the sand with my umbrella. They...More

Nice beach in a gorgeous town. Well worth visiting from Lisbon for a day trip. The beach can be crowded at peak hours. On a sunny day in July, the wind was still awful.

There are so many to choose from for such a small town but this is one of my favourites simply because it's so well served for bars and restaurants. One of the largest, it's protected by a wall on its east side and offers golden...More

This beach is quite small, so it may get crowded quickly. It's in the middle of the city, so if you can go somewhere else I would definitely recommend it - you will be able to avoid tourists and have some space.
