Visiting the church is free but don't miss the other areas. Senior entry fee is 3Euros. No one mentioned there was an included audio guide. The church is nice but not nearly as impressive as the other areas. KEEP your ticket handy. You will need...More

We were on an Inside Lisbon Tour. First we went to Fatima, then drove for about 40 minutes to Batalha. Our mini bus rounded a corner and there it is..totally out of the blue - like an oasis in a desert. Hard to find words...More

Awesome! I’ve visited a lot of nice church but I must say, this comes into my top 10. A must visit place here in Portugal. The architecture is simply amazing.

The monastery looks absolutely stunning, the church has a grandeur to it and it is worth coming to see. The place doesn't take too long to see and there is a huge square surrounding the church.

We were there in Oct with a tour group. The Avis family tombs including Henry the Navigator are impressive. There is also the Portuguese Unknown Soldier memorial.

This beautifully built monastery is in the middle of a very calm town. Restaurants and shops surround it as if it almost we’re not there. Once you go into it I would estimate there are ceilings of approximately 80 feet and they are truly architecturally...More

The atmosphere was so amazing. I enjoy everything minute there. From outside you can see wonderful baroque fasade And inside it is even better. You will enjoy IT even it is rainy day.
