This is a very elegant and artistic chapel. The sculptures and paintings are unique and extremely beautiful. You absolutely have to see it!

Somewhat confusing entrance. To get to the church you must enter through the museum and use the walk-ways. We were not the only ones lost. Fascinating structure that remains.

Went here and paid 4 euros to get in, you start by looking at a few displays with an informative book telling the history of the place and items that they have found. You then go out side and you can walk around the kitchen...More

It is well worth the 4 euros to take a tour of these ruins. It is quite an awe-inspiring experience to be standing inside them....a bit creepy....a bit mysterious....and a lot cool!

If you are interested in church architecture this place could interest you, as it has the graves of the first kings of Portugal and nice elements from several architectural periods.
