We liked the idea that the musicians were former students from the University in Coimbra. A series of accompanied songs that cover love, lament and goodbye. There was a historical element to it from photo images behind the performers. I liked the timing of the...More

Fado came alive for us at Fado ao Centro. The show is professional, entertaining and educational. I also enjoyed the 'free' port at the end of the show and the chance to mingle/chat with performers and audience afterwards. I would gladly go again.

All cultural projects should be supported but this one specially. For a very fair price you receive high quality Fado back. Perfect timing as well, 6pm.

Reserved a fado show of 50 minutes. Slightly disappointing because quite few fado songs and a hot, not well ventilated room. The fact that people with a passion for fado performed, made it all ok. They deserve our support. :-)

We missed the traditional Fado show while we were in Lisbon. However, Fado ao Centro delivers a great fado experience with a twist:) The ambient of the theater is intimate and cozy. At the end of the show, you can purchase their CDs and meet...More
