Excellent experience! The staff and team was highly professional for both certification classes and diving sessions, super well organized; I had the chance to have Bruno, Claudia, Olivier as instructors, all were excellent, patient to show their passion. Rest of the staff is very friendly and always make sure you feel safe anytime for you to have the best experience under water! Everything is well orchestrated between the dives with hot drinks/snacks; equipment is high quality even during colder temperature. Spots are well explained and very impressive. I would blindly recommend for any beginner and advanced diver!

I completed my Rescue Diver certification as well as other recreational dives with this dive centre and can strongly recommend diving with them. The dive centre is very organised and well-ran and the staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. There are a number of excellent dive sites in the area (particularly Dori Wreck) and if you book multiple dives they ensure that repeats are minimised. The dive briefings given are informative and useful. In particular, Ruben is a brilliantly helpful, knowledgeable and effective instructor who made the Rescue Diver training a really rewarding experience. Thanks also to Niko for ensuring my last day of diving at the centre had some really enjoyable dives. I would strongly recommend this dive centre to anyone who wants to dive in the Azores

I had the pleasure to dive multiple times during my Azores trip with this diving centre and I can't recommend them enough. Even before arriving to Sao Miguel and while organising my trip, Bruno was very responsive, practical and communicative in his email responses, taking the time to communicate the centre's diving schedule and the diving sites that we can experience from Ponta Delgada. Upon my arrival for my first dive, I was greeted by Bruno and Suzie and they've been truly kind, very organised with equipment, schedule times etc. and have always been making sure that safety procedures were always honoured. The dive instructors I dived with, Lilly, Mikel and Benny were all great, with positive and friendly attitude and always following safety protocols - overall great pleasure diving with them! If you're planning a diving trip in the Azores and Sao Miguel, Best Spot Azores is definitely a top-spot safe and fun option!

Best Spot Divers really gave us the best spots, the best service and the best organization if diving at São Miguel. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and ready for any questions and requests. They also sought to not repeat dive spots to give their clients the full Azores dive experience. When we come back, we know where to dive 😉

An unbelievable experience doing my first dive with the company. We had a qualified pro Sebastian who was clear, patient and enthusiastic helping to make me feel so at ease. The dive itself was beautiful. Would highly recommend to anyone starting from total beginners.

Simply Excellent.
Spots were good and lively, although the day was a bit cloudy and there was a bit of current.
I personaly liked more the dive in willy wonka because the visibility was longer, but all dives (including the refresh) were fun and had tons to see.
Incredible staff, very good infrastructure.
Had 2 dives with Mikel and 1 with Pedro. Both are excellent divers and made everything safe, calm and smooth.
I did a first refresh dive with Mikel with my 14y old son, who has some pressure compensation problems and he made it really easy... boosting my son's confidence for the next dives. He is really patient and supportive.
The dive center is very well organized and is clearly centered on safety.
The attention to detail is obvious and embedded on the team attitude.
Definitely recomend to others and if i return to Pta Delgada will surely dive with them again.

I got my diving certification (Open Water Diver) here and can highly recommend the diving school! The team is incredibly friendly and competent, the equipment is well-maintained and professional, the dive spots are fantastic, and the training is top-notch. My instructor Claudia, in particular, did an excellent job leading the course—she was patient and extremely professional! I would do it again in a heartbeat, and if I ever come back to São Miguel for diving, it will definitely be with them! Thank you for everything ☺️

Very knowledgeable and very helpful staff. Bruno made entire process easy. Celina was an excellent divemaster who helped me all the way, even going back into water to recover my camera which came off while removing my tank and buoyancy compensator. Maria showed me charts to identify fauna seen on dive. Easy access from cruise ship port…five minute walk. BBB g c

The 5* diving center super well organized, relaxed atmosphere, good material (tires and aqualung) new or nearby, we had the nitrox protinho to test, 1 Guide for every 4 people. Malta super good wave. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and accomplished dive centre. I joined for a morning session, 2 dives. First dive the Dori wreck, then a surface interval for tea/ coffee and biscuits! Then the second dive on the volcanic Willy Wonka lava field. My guide was Neiko, a marine biologist and dive master intern. A great experience and lots of wildlife pointed out with discussions about what we saw after. Professional, fun and would definitely recommend and dive here again. Thanks Best Spot, and Neiko.

I had a 5mm in september (my own).. No problem. The dive centers do all have 7mm. Often with a thin vest underneath. Best way to know this is to ask the dive center. They can give you the best advice, they have local knowledge an know the weather and water conditions the bes.

HI Leslie, I recently returned, be prepared for quite chilly water. I took 5mm but added 2mm vests which they offer at the centre. However, they have 7mm suits for hire.No point taking risk with last minute dive/flight - I went whale watching instead and was not disappointed! Say hello to Suzi and Bruno from me, Allan
