Would have loved to have visited the lighthouse but it doesn't appear to cater for tourists, all fenced off with no access. A tacky cafe and a couple of touristy shops, car park nearby. Not worth a visit in my opinion although there are some...More
We visited here Sunday 14th October, it is not possible to enter the Lighthouse as it is closed off to the public.
It is situated on the headland along the most dramatic and rugged coastline a short distance from the Town of Lagos.
You go to the lighthouse basically to experience the walk down to the grotto. We were able to park our car because we went early in the day. It probably gets crowded later but we had a wonderful time exploring the area around the lighthouse.
One moment after another of being left speechless by all the beauty this area has to offer... You can walk it on boardwalks or easier trails, or you can go for the more challenging paths and get even better views. We loved it so much...More
