Really interesting place, the cathedral 's square itself is somewhat quite romantic.
The entry price is 3,5 euro encompassing the cathedral, the tower and the museum.
Very nice cathedral with wonderful carvings. The museum is certainly not an absolute must.

Paid a visit to Faro Cathedral during the first full day of a short vacation I had in Faro.
€3.50 adult admission which I thought was very good value.
Although there were a few people around during my visit, the atmosphere still remained tranquil.

Well worth a visit when in Faro old town. Beautiful small cathedral and a bone chapel outside.
Do climb up to the clock tower, the view is magnificent.
Serene and calm atmosphere with no crowds at all.

Sorry, there will be extra masses I am sure, but I don't know what they are. There are another couple of good churches, so I am sure you will find a Mass somewhere. The Tourist Information office may also be able to help... More
Sorry, there will be extra masses I am sure, but I don't know what they are. There are another couple of good churches, so I am sure you will find a Mass somewhere. The Tourist Information office may also be able to help. It's just to the left as you start to enter the old City.
