Visited on a Wednesday when the lighthouse is open to visitors - naval guide only speaks Portuguese but this didn't seem to matter to any of us.Interesting tour and easy first climb up the staircase followed by two narrowing/steeper climbs so be warned! Visitors book...More

This is lighthouse on top of hill on the ocean. There is a great view and easy walking trails. Good restaurants along the way.

So basicaly went up the lighthouse wich is open from 2:30 pm untill about 6:30 from tuesdays to sundays only, the view is amazing and its good to get to know a bit of the history of it.

There is a well used cliff path in either direction from the Lighthouse with spectacular views into Sandstone coves with caves and sink holes. This is the reason for my rating, as the Lighthouse is usually closed to visitors except Wednesdays 2-4. Take your camera!...More

Go there on Wensday 2 to 4 you can go in the lighthouse. If the door is closed wait because the lighthouse keaper is up stairs whit the customers. Nice place To visit.

Frankly I struggle to give this 2 Stars. It is just an ordinary lighthouse with a notice board giving brief details of its history. Everywhere was boarded up. There is some pleasant coastal resorts alongside which are attractive
