To walk on the boardwalk you first have to walk to it which includes a walk up a steep hill out of Carvoeiro but well worth the effort. We are in our 70's and managed it with stops to admire the views, (really to get our breath back) It maybe takes 30 minutes to walk it but…

A short distance (less than 1KM} along the cliff top to Algar Seco and O Barco 2 good places to eat.Fantastic Views along the cliffs. Don't be put offby the walk up the hill.
