A tiny glimpse of history in the old town. We stumbled across this, during our first foray into the old centre, which in early January, we had pretty much to ourselves. There’s a nice (if you like this sort of thing, cottage covered in sea shells, next door.

Not very well signposted, and sadly not A lot left of it, but there are two parts to the old castle one is the "northern port site of the old port of access to the castle" which every body goez to, and the second part is next to the beautiful house of shells which is the "site…

If you climb up through the PortaSanta Ana you pass the shell house and then climbing up further you see the stones of the old castle wall. This is nothing to go looking specifically for but it is enjoyable walking through the narrow streets as this is a less touristy area.
