This is a great place to relax for a few days- from the centre you can walk to the old walls surrounding the town in 15 minutes

The entire historical center of Evora is a cauldron of history that dates back to Roman times. Easy to get lost as you wander the streets. The Cathedral and Roman Temple were the highlights for us but there is so much more to see. Plan...More

The best things are the low price for seniors and the individual handheld audio guides. The museum itself is beautiful with at least 4 different displays. The audio is succinct and clear.

The history here is incredible. Prehistoric and onward. The Museum of Évora is worth a stop. The center is on a hill with great views. In the center is a Roman temple. The city is very walkable.

What you do not find in each Portuguese city, you certainly find here: an architectural unity, in colours, style and measure. Take your time to see this city, one day is hardly enough.

Great town full of history and shopping plus Great Food! Easy to walk . We stayed just outside of the City Wall and walked everywhere. Streets do meander so have a good map!

A very well kept city, and very well kept secret. The regular tourist cannot find many of it's wonders. Investigate before visiting.

If you plan your walk around properly, you can see most of the highlights of Evora in 5 to 6 hours, at a leisurly pace

Well worth a visit lots to see and admire! Most main sites are easily within walking distance of each other. Good shopping as well in nice streets without traffic....Parking is difficult and the streets very narrow!

After bustling Lisbon, what a very welcome pace to be in this pretty much pedestrian historic centre. Nice to slow the pace down and not be overrun by tourists
