Interesting explanations of how candy is made
Apr 2019 • Family
There's not much to do in this area of Vaihingen, but if you have kids, you don't need much more... This candy store/museum is great for kids (mainly the store part, to buy candies on your way out...), but the history and explanations about how candy is made are also interesting for adults.

Led by my sweet tooth
Jun 2018 • Friends
Took my cousin here her first day touring Germany so she could already buy a few goodies to bring back with her. Best way to give gifts back home is to get a couple of bags and divide them among family and friends. This is my better-than-Haribo pick.

The Bonbon Museum is free and located on the second floor of the store. There's a stair on the left just as you enter to reach it. So much history on candies and how they developed. We also liked the antique candy dispensers there.

Sweets where you look
Jun 2016 • Family
Sweets sweets sweets and what's that peanuts. I like it. There are small stairs in the middle of the sweet factory outlet which leads you in the second floor of the building. Passed the last stair you become a part of the sweets history. There is explaind and shown the history of sweets for old and young. After the history lesson coming back to the shop you need a lot of money to buy all the sweets which you like. There are also nice presents out of sweets. And for those who don't like sweets there are also some non sweet things like peanuts, chips and a lot of goods to eat which makes you a part of dolce vita...
