Hidden gem!

Well, this was a surprise visit which we came across lately. This small farm and restaurant offers a great combination of traditional horsing, nature park and good food. The farm has a breed of blackforest horses that you can rent including an open trailer that takes you through the lovely surroundings with vinyards etc. which is very relaxing and the food on offer (obviously also cakes) are of great quality and value. Try the local wine as well!
So, if you want a sunny day out on one of the offered horse carriages - check their webpage called schwarzwaelder-stune.de - including some good local food and wine, take the turnoff close to Vaihingen-Enz, close to Stuttgart. The Porsche and Mercedes museum can wait a bit.
