I found Andy through trip advisor whilst having a look to see what was available in Brugge. I’m not normally a fan of walking tours which normally include you following a guide with an umbrella with lots of other people and have no clue what they are saying! Andy’s tour is the complete opposite, we wondered through the streets of this beautiful town and Andy stopped to give us lots of great and fun facts. Andy is a great guide, full of knowledge and really funny. Thank you for showing us this beautiful city!

Hey Julie and Chris, Thank you for those kind words! It's always a pleasure to get that feedback. The walk with you guys was (maybe strange to say it this way) so easy! You are great to have as guests, with you laughs and witty remarks! I had a wonderful time during the entire time of the walk, and walked home with a biiiiiiig smile on my face. When my girlfriend asked me "how was it", she didn't have to wait for my answer as she noticed that smile! Thanks for a wonderful walk, safe trip back to Leeds. Andy

I wish that Zeebrugge hadn’t been our last stop on our 12-night cruise. As soon as we walked into Bruges, we realized that we were exhausted. So, we decided to take a relaxing 30-minute boat tour on the Baudouin Canal. That was a great decision! The Captain of our boat had a wonderful sense of humor and entertained us with his knowledge of Bruges. We learned about the Belfry of Bruges, Basilica of the Holy Blood, Church of Our Lady Bruge Madonna by Michelangelo, the Diamond Museum, the French fry Museum, the legend of the Belgium swans, the Begijnhof, and much more. We spent the next couple of hours on a leisurely stroll around Bruges before heading back to the ship. Don’t pass up the opportunity to explore this quaint, Medieval town known for its Belgium chocolate, Belgium waffles, Belgium beer, Belgium lace and Belgium swans. This was one of my favorite stops on our cruise.

Andy is a wonderful raconteur and determined that you will leave with the essence of Bruges in terms of history, political life, architecture, and beauty. I am hard of hearing so his Strong, Loud Voice was wonderful and easy to understand. His funny, charming, patient, and helpful. Plus he knows the best places for eating, shopping, ice cream, waffles AND chocolate. Ask about the very best chocolates in Belgium, if not the world. It's a small shop without a brand name, but they are handmade and truly special.

We had a tour with Andy in March after booking 2 weeks in advance. Andy was on time and easy to find. Even though it was just the two of us, the time went very quickly as Andy was so interesting, informative and funny with lots of relatable anecdotes. Great mix of history and food & drink reccomendations. Thanks Andy, we had a great time!

Hey Jemma & James !!! Thank you so much for the kind words! Happy to hear you had a good time on the walk. I hope the rest of your stay in Bruges was fun, filled with perfect waffles and beautiful memories. Who knows, we'll run into each other when I'm in the area of Essex... ;-) Safe travels, Andy
