The falls use to have hummingbird feeders so everyone can enjoy seeing the birds. Now the government is having all feeders removed. SO, if you want to go here to see hummingbirds forget it. The park is such that if it is raining don't bother going.
It is a beautiful park otherwise.

Although the grounds are beautiful, the attraction was not as advertised. Several sections were closed and locked to the public. The waterfalls are worth seeing, but not everything else was. We were charged full price, didn't see everything the brochure advertised, and the restaurants were very limited. If you are going to limit this experience, the price should reflect those limitations. We brought guests on this visit, but will not do that again. We were disappointed.

Open exhibits that you advertise as being open. If there are no birds In the Aviary, say so. If there are no humming birds, say so. If there are no staff in the butterfly section, say so. Paid full price for a greatly diminished experience

The gardens and the waterfalls were stunning, but the big cats were pacing around, looking really sad and pent up in their cages. It was upsetting to see such a majestic wild creature in an enclosed space. I understand these animals are rescues from places where they grew up in captivity, so they can't be released into the wild. But I read somewhere during my tour that they have a breeding program. If I understand correctly this means that the cats are actively being bred in captivity, which I think makes it less of a rescue center than they claim. I hold places that actively profit from nature to a high standard, for political and moral reasons, and this center did not fulfill my expectations.

I would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff were very kind and helpful. The trails and waterfalls were incredibly breath taking. Very happy to see that someone is providing a home to the forest animals that would other wise be unable to survive in the wild.

Amazing experience! We traveled to both these waterfalls and La Fortuna Waterfall and by far and away this was a better experience. The grounds are truly breathtaking with lush foliage everywhere. We saw so many different plants, flowers, colors, and beauty that had my family and I all in awe. Then the sanctuary was very cool with the ability to get close up to some of the animals like sloths, monkeys, and toucans. The jaguars and pumas were behind glass, but you could put your hand right up to them. Finally, the waterfalls were just breathtaking! There's 5 waterfalls and all of them are picturesque. I would highly, highly, highly recommend La Paz Waterfalls!

This “animal sanctuary” is more like a nightmarish zoo for the beautiful animals they are supposed to be saving from a life of abuse. The big cats are in cages far too small for their size, pacing around and living in artificial cages. The birds are kept in small cages they can barely stretch their wings in and the snakes are kept in shoe box sized enclosures. The tourists constantly bother the animals as well. They need to improve the conditions for the animals or the animals should be confiscated.

This is my first time here at Waterfall Gardens we are from Colorado. Its an Amazing place with a lot of things to do and many things to see.

The only negative coment is the Buffet Restaurant. We are a Family of 5 and 3 of us are Glutten Free. We asked through Facebook before get there about the tickets and the options for the Lunch and they didnt answer about the food options they just said "El almuerzo Buffet debe pagarse en la recepción" and all the explanation about the tickets. The person who respond the message they never told us about the situation of the food if they have or not more options.

Once we arrive to the reception we tried to check if is posible to see the menú before buy the lunch but as the Facebook message they just told us that we have to buy the lunch right there.
They didnt care about us they just care for the money and not for the service or the food situation that we had.
We definitely dont buy the lunch at the desk just the tickets.
Its really nice place with an Amazing people that care all the animals and the sanctuary but not the people who were at the reception or in Facebook.
We will not return to this place...!!
