A museum that should not be missing on your list. It has recently been renewed. You notice that migration is of all times, with large flows and then quieter periods. The temporary exhibition space has until January 2019 a magnificent photo exhibition of Magnum photographer...More

This museum was not originally on my list of places to visit but was fascinating. Housed in the building thousands of people passed through to try and leave Europe for a new life it immerses you into the journeys they made and the huge journey...More

I've visited this museum a few times now and I'm always overwhelmed by the complete image this museum offers: from history of migration to the Red Star Line itself, to personal stories etc. An ideal counterpart to the Ellis Island Museum in New York and...More

Luckily, we learned this at the TI in the train station and saved a fruitless trip. Several other Antwerp museums are also closed— fashion museum, no show at MAS— so check before you go

I regret I am unable to give a full review of the Red Star Line museum because it was under renovation when my wife and I arrived at the main door by taxi on 13 September. The sign on the door said "closed for renovations,...More

Yes, the Red Star museum is closed until September 21st. I would check a few days after that, since there is a lot of road works in the area.
