The town hall and Grote Markt is not as impressive as those in Ghent or Brugges. Whilst some of the historic buildings remain, it is obvious that less care has been taken to preserve the historic centre of the city. Antwerp is far more commercialised.
Yes, because the inside is being totally dismantled and then there's a complete renovation . And there are historical elements that have to be protected and handled with care, so this will slow things down ...
