In the center of Grote Markt, this is an imposing building. Although covered with scoffolds while we were there, it is the largest of the building in Grote Mrkt and identifies as the center of Antwerp.

Currently under renovation (Like a lot of historical buildings in Antwerp) and likely to be for some time. However there is a fabric picture of the building over the scaffolding so it doesn’t spoil the ambience of the square (Grote Market) and you get an...More

Even without a city guide you get an idea of the importance of the city over the centuries. And the fountain is a nice place to take a rest and let the surroundings impress you.

This is a nice place to visit in Antwerp. Historic houses and lots of places to go for a drink or a bite. Very nice especially in summer. Nice statue in the middle

I am sure this is a beautiful building, but at the moment there is just a replica screen in front as they are clearly doing renovation work to the building..... Oh well, will just have to come back to see the finished result!

You cannot miss the Town Hall when wandering the main streets of Antwerp. The main attraction for us however was the many bars and restaurants that were in close proximity of this beautiful building.
