When I visit Witte de Withstraat it was free; they had several exhibitions that were interesting. On the last floor they had an exhibition from a Latin American feminist artist of the sixties/seventies with a very peculiar art. It is not my cup of tee but it was "fun" to read some of the texts that where placed next to the works of art. In the other floors they had other female artists. One was inspired by mesoamerica art while the other had big paintings and sculptures that where very weird as if they were performing a kind of a medical practice wearing hazmat. I imagine that what you will see probably be different of I what I see; nonetheless, I think it is worth to check out the exhibitions at this centre when you are in town.…

Very nice place to po in when in Rotterdam, delicate of mental serenity and artistic excitement. In the exhibitions I saw, music and sound tracks were very important.

Modern art is extremely personal. The Witte is very avant-garde very experimental. The exhibits are currently a mix of acoustics, digital video, paintings, dialogue and walk thrust surround surreal space. Not overwhelming with exhibits but time consuming to absorb....interesting.

We visited the museum on a friday-evening and it was for free. The exposition is ok but not a big experience.

Welcome wasn’t very friendly and the two different ticket types weren’t really clearly explained . You probably want to pay for the 9 Euro ticket or else there isn’t a lot to see. However, you may prefer saving your money and go elsewhere . I realise art can be experimental and people’s tastes differ, but other than one collection of prints, there wasn’t anything that I liked. Perhaps I just didn’t understand the thoughts behind it but I normally really enjoy walking and exploring art galleries but somehow not this one . …
