Amsterdam's Jewish Quarter Small-Group Walking Tour

1,172 reviews
This tour makes it super easy to pack in a little daytime history in between exploring Amsterdam’s vibrant nightlife. Even if you’re planning on visiting the Anne Frank House separately on your own, this tour follows her path through the city’s the Jewish Quarter with a guide who’s well brushed up on his WWII history.

This was our third visit to Amsterdam. During our two previous visits, we had stayed in the city for several days. This time, we were only in the city for one day whilst our cruise ship was berthed at the Amsterdam Passenger Terminal. We spent the day walking around the city sight-seeing. During the day, we also managed to squeeze in some visits to a number of souvenir shops. Dam Square Souvenirs was one of the shops which we visited. While the shop stocks a good range of quality souvenir items, we knew from our visits to other souvenir shops that the prices for some of their goods were rather high. We did manage to buy a couple items there but we went elsewhere to buy most of our souvenirs.

This shop is small but there are so many different souvenirs for your family and friends back home. I have tried quite a few chocolates here. To be honest, u better buy something else as a gift. The shop was busy because of great location but quick services tho. Reasonably priced in the area.

Nice little shop to buy gifts. Wooden tulip, ceramic clogs etc. Fun giant clog outside to sit in and take a photo.
