One of the oldest and most famous bierproef venues in Amsterdam is a place you definitely have to visit. A daily menu of draft beers, quite often becomes an hourly menu :-) plus you have a choice of more then 250 bottled beers. A very...More

.. so stop whingeing if it doesn't have cranberry juice / cocktails for God's sake. Quite frankly, sod off and go to the hundreds of other bars that serve this crap. This is an iconic craft beer bar - and of a dwindling breed. If...More

Arrived in Amsterdam for 48 hours and visited this place for a quiet drink. This place where beer takes precedence if you want other drinks then visit another bar. Staff are very rude if you don't order beer!

When the bartender was done ignoring us I asked for Vodka cranberry, he made a pained face and said nobody would have cranberry juice. This is the only place that didn’t have it in fact. Dumpy little place not worth the time it would take...More

They change their beers often, but if they have the Cloudwater IPA available please do yourself a favor and try it. Absolutely delicious and strong. Very helpful and friendly staff; among the best beer spots in Amsterdam.

A hidden gem just off the main street. 10 mins walk from Centraal station. Excellent selection of on tap beers and a menu of 400+ bottled beers. Fantastic service and knowledgeable about products and tastes.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

I replied to your other post. Turn Right coming from your hotel following Niewendijk on Kolk. Located on the left hand side on Kolk.

Follow Niewendijk from your hotel and 3-4 streets off to the right on KOLKSTREET. It is a rather small place on the left side of Kolk if you come from Niewendijk.
