I was so looking forward to this tour, there were many email exchanges prior to arriving in Amsterdam, everything was basically arranged, date and time set. Arrived in Amsterdam no contact from them, no emails no phone calls, nothing... After leaving Amsterdam I emailed yet again to see what happened, but no one ever replied to me even after I left! Until now no response... So disappointed! After all the reviews here and rave reviews I am shocked... It would have been nice to take a photo tour...…

I had a great experience last Saturday (June 13) photographing Amsterdam with Gen. Gen met us promptly at the agreed upon spot and took us to some of her favorite spots to photography Amsterdam at night. She taught me some new skills, including how to effectively use my manual mode and take advantage of white balance. With her help I got some fantastic night shots throughout Amsterdam. I've also been inspired to continue using what I learned after the session. As well, Gen was very pleasant to spend a couple hours with. She has a genuine love for Amsterdam and happily shared great stories about her experiences there. Although I marked this as a "Solo" visit, my wife and I did this together. I marked as Solo because this is about photography. Although my wife wasn't taking photos, she enjoyed the evening too - seeing beautiful views of Amsterdam and enjoying conversation with Gen throughout the evening.…

Gen was absolutely amazing! She instructed my husband with great tips to improve the quality of his pictures while showing us view of Amsterdam we hadn't discovered in our 10 day stay. It was the perfect birthday gift for my husband.

I signed up for the Keukenhof and Flower Fields tour for myself and my parents. We went at the beginning of our week-long stay in Amsterdam and it was one of the highlights of our trip. While I am a fairly experienced photographer, my mom is just starting out and my dad is getting back into it but fairly new to digital photography. Gen did a fantastic job of providing instruction and tips that were useful for each of us. She also did a great job adjusting the tour to our (slower) walking speed and making sure we were all getting good shots. Because we went early in our trip, we were able to use some of the techniques we learned on the tour throughout the rest of our stay and were able to bring home a better set of vacation photos because of it. I'm only sorry that I wasn't able to do a night tour as well! Absolutely worthwhile. …
