Great fun place, surprise to find such a lively spot in that part of town. Was not expecting to have such a good night with friendly locals. Will definitely visit again. Good music and decent drinks. Open late and very welcoming.

We stumbled in here after walking for miles and were welcomed by the staff and regulars. They played great music, there was an adorable dog and the bartender was fun to chat with. Instead of staying for one drink we stayed for many. This ended up being one of my favorite bars in the city!

My Friend Jasper, took me to his favorite neighborhood bar, on the Prins Hendrikkade, in Amsterdam, and it was the best of times. A comfy couch inside, a comfortable couch and seating outside, a classic juke box, good music that evolved from classic rock, and 80's jams to good groovey house and old school Detroit techno (Octave One came on and I was loving it). The vibes were right and bartender was hilarious and friendly. There was a good mix of locals young and old and everyone was having a great time. I will be back next time I am in A'Dam and hopefully some of the same crew will be there just like old friends!

I stopped intoCcafe Pollux today on arriving in Amsterdam. I came here in 2019 and loved the bar and the friendly staff. Returning today I was not disappointed with an incredibly friendly welcome from Helen. A fantastic selection of drinks, snacks and quirky decorations. A definite stop close to Amsterdam central station!

We stumbled upon this beautiful pub and had to go inside! The atmosphere inside is so chilled and we could spend all day and night in here. The staff are so welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. Helen offered us a taste of each beer so we could get the best one for us which we loved and really appreciated. We was also offered food and tried some of Helen’s homemade spicy veg dish and was AMAZING! couldn’t recommend this place enough! Make sure you plan your trip and come here for food and drink. Night time it turns into a club with foam/smoke/ music. Staff 20/10! Highly highly recommend and can’t wait to come back 😀

The best cafe and bar I have been to in Amsterdam. The lady who owns the place is absolutely lovely and very kind. Always stopping for a chat. Looking at the water. A cute little dog will join your table. 10/10 would highly reccomend.

The entire staff was SO nice and welcoming! The bar itself full of character and my absolute favorite place this trip. Not only are we bringing our friends back tonight but will make it a regular stop anytime we are in town. Cannot recommend it enough!

The staff here is amazing! The bathroom is clean. It doesn’t smell like a bar! They went above and beyond. This work crew is fun. We feel welcome. We love this place so much we are coming back in a few hours and will come back anytime we visit Amsterdam.

Fun, fun, fun bar! Super friendly staff, walls are jammed with funky art, great beer selection, cocktails… there’s a lot of bars in Amsterdam, but this is my new number one! ❤️
