I grew up learning about Van Gogh and always really enjoyed seeing his art when it would be in various museums between here in the States and abroad. So, naturally, I needed to visit this museum when in AMS. Hubby and I stood in line...More

An €18 admission price plus €5 for the audio guide makes this museum very expensive especially as you can easily see everything in under two hours. No photography is allowed, which is a real shame. Modern building well laid out with lift access to all...More

Cannot recommend enough to visit the museum. Nothing quite like seeing such art with your own eyes. Well worth it!

Extensive exhibit of Van Gogh's history and paintings. Modern museum with lots of light. Loved the recorders and earphones to hear more detail. A must-see!

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part
of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh
Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed
museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you
need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the
Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark,
the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand
connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping

I am not sure as I didn't see any there when I visited. They were very good about responding to inquiries. You may want to reach out to then ahead of time.
