Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took our two year old to play here and he loved it. Started in the mini area, but it did not took long before he was climbing about the main playing area.
Everything was clean, staff at the entrance were friendly. Staff in the restaurant area and waiting tables, were definitely working their dream job as they weren't the most friendly people around. But hey, you come here to play with your kids. Not to enjoy top notch service (good luck with finding that in most of the restaurants in Amsterdam anyway!).
Toilets were very clean and there were tons and tons of things to do for children. We manage to exhaust ours as he almost fell a sleep in the paying area, so mission succeeded!

We took an Uber here from our hotel in city center - very glad we did.
The young lady working at the front desk when we entered was very kind and helpful. Excellent service. She as so sweet that even when we were asking for the best directions back to the hotel, she said she could call us an Uber if we did not have one. This 20 something young woman offered to pay for a car ride for us, for no reason other than to be nice and welcome us to Amsterdam. Wow! Truly above and beyond. We did not take her up on it, of course!
The space itself is huge and has something for kids that are small (like our 16 month old daughter) and up to 5 6 7 years old. Our daughter had such a good time here and played for hours. It is safe and clean and fun.
Definitely a great place to take your small kids while in Amsterdam. Oh and prices are very fair and modest as well!

Dirty like a stable, too crowded, they charge 8,50 even to 1 years old babies... tap water 2,50 euro, thieves, toilet simply disgusting, employees are rude and careless.

This indoor playground is build in an old church, so there is light coming through the glass windows.
There is a baby play area and a big space for older kids to play.
All in one is the place great for kids let's say from 2 to 10 years old.
The food available is ok with french fries and all the Dutchies options (kroket, frikandel etc) but also healthier options.
The place is clean - which is to mention!
Staff if friendly.
Tip: come in the morning, it is less busy :)

Kids do not feel the time when they start playing, we spent 6 hours and they did not want to leave. Huge area, with different kinds of plays, excellent for rainy days, the cafeteria has a lot tables and their food & icecream are very good. I loved the place and highly recommended. Just the toilets' cleanliness need more attention.
It is more adventurous for ages starting 5 years, where they can climb everywhere without supervision.

What do you do with your Dutch grandchildren if the parents are out for the day and you are in Amsterdam? Candy Castle is a wonderful facility, and the children were so excited, even before we arrived. They were not disappointed! Colourful, clean and comprehensive. Chips! Other food. Friendly. And I managed a little doze.

Candy castle is an indoor playground right next to our home. Therefore it’s of course very convenient, but I also honestly feel like this is one of the cleanest and nicest indoor playgrounds of Amsterdam. Prices aren’t very low, but what you get (food wise) is worth it. Also, keep in mind this is Amsterdam... entrance however I feel could be set up differently! As soon as your little one turns one you start paying the same amount as for older kids, even though until at least around 3 years of age your child will probably mainly or ONLY use the ‘mini area’. Also most kids don’t event walk yet at one year old, so to pay the full amount before 1,5 seems wrong to me. Therefore I feel like there could be a difference in 1/1,5- 3 or 4 year olds and up. Under 1 it’s free which is good, cause they don’t really play at that age.

Nicely set up, organization disastrous, there was garbage everywhere, toilets dirty and broken, playground equipment not well maintained with holes in the safety nets. Little service, kart track still not in use, all in all, not a second time for me.
