It is remarkable that this extensive system of canals even exists beneath the fairytale-like city. Very peaceful and scenic boat ride.
The trip is given only in Dutch but luckily we had local residents who gave us a translation. Very interesting history.
VERY RECOMMENDED! The boat trip on the Binnendieze is a historical tour guiding you to hidden gems of the city. You will see the city from a view you have never seen before. The amazing canals even flow partly under the city/streets since centuries ago...More

It was super nice to do this trip.
It takes 50 minutes, which is not too long but gives time to enjoy the boat ride.
The organization was great. Booked tickets online and at the time we were just called into our boat.
We live in 's-Hertogenbosch and our friends wanted to make a tour on the Binnendieze. They choose the historical tour and we all loved it. The tour guides all speak Dutch so it is nice when you have someone with you that can translate the...More

It is better to buy the tickets online in advance because it's often sold-out on popular times/days. I believe it's possible to request an English speaking tour online: dagjedenbosch . com -> boating-on-the-binnendieze

It's really easy to get to from the train. When you leave the train station keep walking straight (on Visstraat). You'll eventually cross over a bridge and take the second street on the right (not the one on the water but the next one). You'll eventually see the boat tour place on your right...there are lots of signs so you shouldn't have any issues. It'll be about a 5-10 minute walk. There are a couple different tour options, so depending on which one you go with it'll be between 6-9 euros if I remember correctly. Definitely worth it!
