Although we didn't walk out onto Worms Head, you can at low tide. If you carry on past the Head, you get wonderful views and can do a circular walk back to the car park.

We've loved the Worms Head for over 60 years. The walks along the downs offer great views and are easy if you stick to the path, more challenging along the cliffs. The Coast Guards station is very informative. The National Trust store and museum has...More

We timed it just right to get across to the Worm's Head at low water. It is not for the faint-hearted as there is a lot of scrabbling over rocks. But what an achievement when you get across to the last island. The views throughout...More

I've walked this walk for many years and never tire of it. You can park up in Rhossili car park for £4 for the day. And either scrabble down to Rhossili beach, or walk the headlands out to Worms head. But! be warned if you...More

Free parking for members of the National Trust added to the enjoyment of the day. The dragon is something you need to see to believe, and you can ride him at certain times, as are the views from the cliff tops. Add a visit to...More

The Worm's Head was thought by early visitors to look like a dragon (or wurm). The actual location around the head is spectacular enough with the causeway to the island and curving Rhossili beach with its ship-wreck. Parking facilities are quite extensive (and have to...More

Hi, it is but toddlers need to be kept close as the cliffs can be dangerous if you are too close to the edge. There is a gravel road that goes a fair way towards the Head and the rest is easy walking. The beach is fantastic... More
